Narrowing Searches on Rootschat

I have quite a number of ordinary surnames that I'm researching eg: Wing; Green; White etc and now I am looking into the name of Show.

My question is:  How can I narrow my name searches down without getting hundreds of show (as in shown.......you can imagine how many times that is ued!) ...... (instead of Show).   Same as the other names (wing commander; left wing; right wing etc etc!)

It's probably a very simple matter to achieve this, but unfortunately I don't have a lot of computer know how in these things..........I've not long learnt how to put a smiley face on the page!.

Thanks for that info.........I can at least try the advanced options, hopefully that's going to narrow it down some.
