Searching for Elizabeth Wright's daughter

Could anyone advise how I might try to find an illegitimate daughter?  Or is it only possible if she or descendants were trying to find family??

Gwendoline (or possibly Elizabeth) illeg. daughter of Elizabeth Wright (and ??Ted) we have a photo of the couple, definite links with Sheffield - born at time of WW1 (1917 birth Sheffield??).

Elizabeth Wright, Mothers Maiden Name Wright,  Volume 9c Page 881. Sept. Qtr.

Unfortunately the father is unlikely to be named if she was illegitimate.
