looking for any family in Hull with the Egans from Deptford, Catherine, (kate), Julia, maggie, James, Kate married Henry Kipling, Julia married a Johnson ? they had a younger brother called Percy. they lived in the Wincolmlee area of Hull, bromley street, St Pauls street, Charles street, that area. Hi, I note that you have an interest in the Johnson family name from Hull. I have a family of Johnson's living at 7 Bromley Street, Wincolmlee, Hull, in the 1901 Hull Census. My Johnson's originated from the Holme on Spalding Moor/Newbald area of Yorkshire, please let me know if there is a connection here, kind regards, Maurice Hamson, Nelson, New Zealand..

Hi Janice, Thanks fror your quick response. My Johnson's where at 58 Barmston Street, Hull, on the 1891 Census. There must be a connection somewhere. My interest is Florence Johnson, born Hull 16th October, 1887, she was my grandmother. Her father was James Young Johnson, born Tickton 1864. Curious but interesting, kind regards, Maurice...

Hi Maurice, re, Johnsons, the Johnson i was looking for is not in my tree directly, i was looking for a James Johnson who was maried to my grandmothers sister Julia Egan, but i also had an aunt who was married to a Robert Johnson, who incidently lived in Bromley street, where your Johnsons lived in 1901. I also used to live in Bromley street the same time as my aunty Dolly, who was maried to Bob/Robert Johnson, i seem to remember a lady called FLORRIE Johnson, who lived in Bromley Street, this was in the sixties, although, i was only a little girl, so dont remember her much, i will ask my mother, see if she can give any info.
