Could someone help me please ???

When someone sends me an email (and I don't open it straightaway) the Thunderbird program automatically sends a reply back saying "I am away from my PC for a few days etc etc........"

How do I switch this off?  I have tried several things, but I'm sure it's very easy and I am just missing the obvious :-[

Is there a help menu with this program by any chance?

Presumably it's the opposite way around to the way you set it up?

I have checked through the HELP section, and even the FAQ on the website, but there's no mention of this at all.

Auto reply is not something I've come across when using thunderbird although from some reading its possibly available as an extension (small add on program). Check Tools | Extensions on the menu bar.

I checked the Extensions, and there was something there called Talkback which I uninstalled.  Maybe this will solve the problem.
