Pedigree's
« on: Wednesday 23 August 06 23:59 BST (UK) »
Has anyone ordered pedigrees from Tenby museum or Mr. Bill Griffiths before?
On the Dyfed FHS website, it asks you to send an SAE, but how much info do you get? Im unsure as to how much postage to put on the SAE.
Also, it mentions charges but doesnt say how much.
Any ideas?

Marie

I had some marvellous help from Bill a couple of years ago approx 10 handwritten pages.   If I were to seek more from him and especially with the new postage charges I would drop him a line to see if he would accept a cheque and/or cash to cover the postage and to help with his expenses.

I had managed to get my 'tree' back to the 1790's with the help of BT's (no other records were available without a trip to Pembs) but with Bill's help now back to approx 1620.

I contacted Bill with a few of my family names. He has been extremely helpful, apart from supplying me with names, dates etc he has put me in touch with other people researching the same family line as me.
His replies usually consist of several hand written A4 sheets. Since the changes I would send large letter postage.
Good luck, Sue.

Thanks for the info. I sent an A4 envelope and a book of stamps just to be on the safe side.
