George ORPWOOD b Cottenham c 1842

My GG Grandfather was George Orpwood born Cottenham c.1842. I am finding it incredibly difficult to find anything about him. He married a Caroline M (c.1846 Aylesbury, Bucks) and had my G Grandmother Annie Amelia c 1872 St Giles In Fields. I am interested in his birth date/ other children and poss marriage date.
I know his parents were Henry Orpwood and Eliza but I don't know of their marriage date or her maiden name.

I checked the BMD indexes for the two quarters for 1837 which are available and they don't appear, so it looks like they were married in the earlier part of 1837 just before civil registration came in.
