Having just been paid some cash for a bit of private work , ( hope gorden brown aint reading ,)  I am thinking of buying the National Buriel Index priced at 40 quid for a 4 cd set, wondering if anybody out there has got these, and are they all they are said to be,

I have the Second Edition (don't know if there is a Third or Fourth yet)...which is by no means up to date.

It is very good, but doens't have much Lancashire on it, which is a bit of a pain for me.

I have done many look ups on it, and had many disappointments.

If I were you I think I would wait until the next edition comes out (if it isn't already).

Meanwhile, ask us wot 'av got it, to do look ups for you

Su, what is it like for the Welsh counties, in particular Monmouthshire and Glamorganshire?
