Fagg Ash Lil  ;D  a good one for Censuswhack if we could find her  ;D ;D

But we are getting ahead of ourselves.  Yes Carol, Simon found a good match for the wedding

Through FreeBMD - I've got this :-

Marriages Sep 1866
~~~~~~~~
Fagg  Mary A    Farnham  2a 131
JACKSON  Joseph     Farnham  2a 131
It might be time to shell out for a cert  :-\
Re the eldest two, I wonder if the Regimental Reverend kept his own registers - but I don't really know how you would go about finding them ???
" Yes Carol, Simon found a good match for the wedding"
The only problem being that his ancestor is called James and not Joseph.
But as we all know the GRO have been known to make a few mistakes from time to time  :P
wendi - yes I'd agree, that c1866 would be about the correct date for birth of Joseph :-
Births : Apr/May/Jun 1866
~~~~~~~~

FAGG  Joseph R    Farnham  2a 79

Lets work on the basis that this is correct ?

Opinions ?

Fag Ash was one of those nicknames from school............so my mother told me !! She would, I'm sure find it very funny that there is a 'possible/likely' link to the two names now !!

Is this the Mother ? Mary A Fagg..............

Births :

Jan/Feb/Mar 1838
~~~~~~~~
Fagg  Mary Ann     Blean  5 56
(Blean is in Kent.....about 15 miles from Chatham....where a Mary A Jackson was born come the 1881 Census - same woman ? Canterbury and Maidstone are nearer that Chatham to Blean)
