YAY! Whoopie! I have to share this - UPDATE

Rootschatters here it is,

My bigamous grandad (somewhere theres another thread about it ) had another family so I've recently learnt , well I knew about the 2nd wife but got the bonus of finding theres 2 kids as well. he died in 1953 and the 2nd wife last year, so I've really been doing some "ferreting" (as my mum often refers to me as ) and I went to tracesmart and typed in the name I was looking for,.
Lo and behold I got 13 hits! Some with ages most with addresses, and I had to begin my search of the UK phone book. Most were unsuccessful searches I might add, so, (and I kid you not with this part!) I googled the name and the area I believed to be the right son I was looking for and got a hit! I wrote the number down and gingerly rang the number - I asked 2 questions - both parents names were correct - yes I hit the jackpot first time too.

My mum now has a half brother and sister in the UK  and none of them knew about each other, they are both thrilled to bits!
I've just got off the phone to my 'new" uncle in the UK!
I just had to share this with you all , to those rootschatters out there seeking something similar - it can happen after all!
I've managed to join  2 families across the seas with the help of the net!

UPDATE

I NOW HAVE ALSO SPOKEN TO MUMS HALF SISTER WHO WAS TOTALLY UNAWARE OF HER FATHERS PREVIOUS MARRAIGE AND THAT THE FACT THAT SHE HAS 3 HALF SISTERS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD. SHE IS THRILLED ALTHOUGH SHOCKED TO LEARN ABOUT HER FATHERS ANTICS BUT ALSO HAD A LOT OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS THAT I HAVE NOW BEEN ABLE TO ANSWER FOR HER. HER JIGSAW IS NOW FALLING INTO PLACE.

 PS ::: ANYONE WANNA BUY AN MGB? i'M TRYING TO SELL MINE SO I CAN TRAVEL BACK TO THE UK TO MEET MY NEW AUNTS AND UNCLES!
