Pool Cottage
« on: Thursday 04 November 04 10:19 GMT (UK) »
My father was evacuated to Aberhafesp during WWII. He stayed at Pool Cottage (known for the Fachwen Pool) with Ivor & Veda Thomas.

I know Veda died some years ago and wondered if anybody with local knowledge knows if Ivor is still there.

Any information greatly appreciated.

Have you tried checking http://www.192.com/search/.  You can also buy credits which will enable you to search the voter's rolls for 2002 - 2005.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!

Jan

You could always ask the County Times  or Shropshire Star for help!! It's the sort of thing local newspapers might like to lead on!
