Hi Ewan

What are you looking for?

So many people have copies of parish registers at home that someone on here may be able to help.

Hello Dawn

Thank you for your reply, if there is anyone available that can go to the Record Office for me, or does have copies of parish registers at home, I can forward details.

Many thanks
Ewan

Hi Ewan.

Which parish and what year?

If you can tell the list the answer,it could make life easier as many libraries hold copies of Parish Registers.

Hello Dave

Yes you're right I forgot the local libraries have copies of parish registers too, so if anyone can help here we go.

Birth would have been approximately 1812, bearing in mind a baptism could have been years after that.  Her name was Maria Lewis, father named as Henry Lewis, occupation a gardener.   The area where she could possibly have been baptised was Brookwood  Surrey.

Thank you for any help
Ewan
