In 1871, Edward is living with his parents, aged 10, scholar ?, listed as born Wedmore.

In 1891, he is married to Annnie, occupation, workman, b Meare Somerset.
Children are,
Arthur 8
Blanche 6
Frank 6
Harry 4

RG 12 / 1916 folio 29 p15

The Walter, he was christened, seems to have been dropped.  He was known as TED, by the family.  Hope this helps
