Hi irret
Many thanks for that marriage date. Yes you would thank a span of 13 years til Catherines birth would have resulted in other births.

Thanking you very much

Hi Lyn

According to the 1851 census for Berks. there is no James Newman or Sarah Newman living in Windsor, and the only Catherine Newman living in Berkshire is 78 years old.

The marriage of a Sarah Langton in Newbury makes sense as there are quite a few Langtons in Newbury.

Perhaps it would be sensible to:  get somebody to do a look-up in the 1841, order the marriage certificate and to find the birth certificate for Catherine.

Regards

Colin

Hi,

I am a descendant of the Langtons of Newbury and have a fairly large tree for the Langtons of Newbury, which includes several Sarah Langtons, who might be matches.

If you are interested then please let me know and I will try to help.

I have a website www.lostlangtons.co.uk and you can contact me there, or reply to this message.

Best
Joel
