Joseph HAYNES b. circa 1837 Kempston (father: Joseph)
who married
Louisa ODELL b. circa 1839 Kempston (father: John)

JOSEPH BARNARD HAYNES c 8.1.1837 son of Joseph & Elizabeth Haynes (also on IGI)

also Sarah bn 1.9.1839 & c 29.9.1839 (also on IGI)
& Henry bn 27.7.1838  & c 4.11.1838 (also on IGI)

found on IGI children of Joseph Haynes & Elizabeth

Harriott c 25.9.1835, John bn 9.4.1841 c 27.6.1841, George c 11.10,1844

George & Thomas both c 11.7.1843 father named as Joseph Barnard Dammoct Haynes & mother Elizabeth.

Joseph Haynes = Elizabeth Lineham 28.12.1819 Kempston

Earlier children - Rebecca Dymock Haynes c 3.11.1822, William c 4.5.1823, James c 31.12.1824, Henry & John both c 22.10.1827 all from IGI.

I didn't find Rebecca bn 1831 or Ann bn 1833 (from the census) but may have missed them on the IGI.

Thanks so much Criggy.  My Joseph was a blacksmith, so it looks like the right one!!!  :)

just had another look.  my joseph was born around 1837 and the one you found (although occupation and father are the same) was born in 1847......

I'm puzzled now..... 

I'd found Joseph and Louisa children on IGI previously and they seem to confirm the marriage of Joseph and Louisa as being 13/4/1858 as on IGI too. 

He wouldn't have married at age 11....

Just realised my mistake - this was the 1851 census not the 1861. (Was rather late when I posted - should have known better!) Did the 1861 for Endsburys! Will type up today sometime.

Marriage at Wootton 12.10.1824 by banns
John Odell & Mary Darby both of this parish. Both left their marks.
