Digital Photographs of Lancashire

Dear Black Sheep,

I have just read your kind offer, and I was wondering if you knew if the following streets still exist:

Barff Road ( interest is No 2) that was in Weaste, where my late mother was born.
Barrack Street, Hulme ( interest is no. 3 where my gggf lived) I have seen the one in the Manchester Archives, but the it is not clear and does not say whch end of the street it was.

After watching the Commonwealth games I guess that Barff Road has gone, and probably also Barrack Street! But one never knows, I guess that some of the old houses got a bit shaky after the bombing. Pity though.

Thank you and if you cannot help that is fine, but your offer is so generous for those people who were  fortunate to have their ancestors born in restored, or still retained, homes in the older suburbs of Manchester.
