Did you post them or reply to them Su?

If you did they'll be in your last postings in your profile :)

I replied to one, and took a note of the other to do a look-up for her, but can't find her to reply to now.

Su,

My heat stopped there a minute - there was me thinking messages were "dropping off the edge" on RootsChat. Phew.  :P

...after all there's a only limited amount of memory in your ZX81, eh Trystan ;)

(Honestly, that's what I thought your 'computer' was when I first saw your new Avatar)

Your main car isn't the sinclair C5, by any chance ?

The secret is out - RootsChat on a ZX81 ! (heh but I've had the 16k RAM pack attached to it!) The C5 is great - artics go staight over me!  :o

I do seem to have this problem of finding a post to research, going off and doing the research, then coming back and not being able to find who I was doing it for..... so I spend ages looking for them. ???

You have probably guessed by now, that I am not the worlds best when it comes to technical bits and pieces !   ;D

When you find a message you wish to do a lookup for:

1. Pick an unusual 'keyword' out of the message
ie 1891 lookup for Hedgehog in London
   - here Hedgehog is the most unusual word.

2. Make a note of the Username of the person you wish to help.

Then when you have your answer for them, click the BIG Search Rootschat button at the top of the page, type your info from 1 & 2 above, Click SEARCH at the bottom of the page and you should be able to pinpoint the message to reply to.
