Would you be aware of any records of orphanages or such like that may have sent their charges to the States. I am running out of ideas Chris.

Hiya Carv,

I've started a thread either here or on Belfast Forum (it appears to be upgrading at the moment) about orphanages and orphans going from NI to England and on to Canada. There were probably some to the
States as well. I know that there were several such schemes in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
