butlers of clare
« on: Friday 15 September 06 14:18 BST (UK) »
Need help with this family--have exhausted all avenues!
Patrick and Margaret Nash Butler married in Clare around 1830.
Came to Canada around 1850. Had a daughter b. 1833-1835 Anna , Hannah, or Johanna.
Thanks. Here's hoping!

Hello joani,

What denomination were Patrick and Margaret? You'll need to find where they were married and hope records for that Church still exist as there are no existing Civil records available for the period when they married. Compulsory civil registration of non-Roman Catholic marriages began on April 1st, 1845. The registration of births, deaths and all marriages commenced on January 1st, 1864.
