The first thing to point out in any earlier search is that the 1841 Census for the area is missing.Secondly Brymbo only became a Parish in its own right in 1844.Up until then any records for Brymbo will be included in the Wrexham Parish see;

Hello Sharon,
I found a few Cadwalader Evans's.
Wrexham baptisms.
Oct 12. born Sep 15 1806. ...... Evans. S/O Cadwaladr & Mary. Occ, Collier. Brymbo.
Nov 6. born Oct 23 1808. Robert Evans. S/O Cadwalader & Margaret. Occ, Collier. Brymbo.

Wrexham marriages.
Aug 2 1806.
Edward Roberts(X). Collier. of this parish.
Sarah Green(X) O.T.P.
Witnesses. Cadwallader Evans(X) & Richd Meesson(X)
Same day.
Cadwaladr Evans(X) Collier. O.T.P.
Mary Williams(X). O.T.P.
Witnesses.Edward Roberts(X) & John williams(X).
(X)=Did not sigh made mark.

You said Evan married in 1848. Could this be his Parents?
Marriage July 16 1820.
Cadwalader Evans(X) O.T.P. Collier.
Mary Rogers(X). O.T.P.
Witnesses. John Ellis(X) & James Cooper.

Oct 27 1826.
Cadwalader Evans(X) Widower. Miner. O.T.P.
Mary Jones(X) Spinster. O.T.P..
Witnesses. Edward Watkins(X) & Anne Williams(X)

I couldn't see a baptism for Evan or in fact any children of Cadwalader and Mary (One).
The only baptisms I could find are 1827 onwards (after he was married to Mary (Two).
Dec 25 1827. Elizabeth.
Oct 5 1831 Ann.
April 29 1832. Mary.
March 27 1833. Sarah.
July 10 1836. Hannah.

I never had time to look at Baptisms in Brymbo which start in 1838 but it would be to late for Evan if he married in 1848.

I'll leave you to work out if it's the Family you are looking for
good luck.

Paul.

Hello Paul

That is alot of information, it is very good of you.
Evan is spelt 'Evan' on his Marriage Certificate but 'Even' on the 1861 cenus.

I will certainly look into the information you have given me.

I will need to look through the Wrexham Parish Records to find Even/Evan and your input looks as if it may help alot.

Regards
Sharon

Hello Sharon,
Just to let you know and save you some time all the information I sent you is from the Wrexham parish records.

If I were you I'd post a massage for an 1851 lookup for  Cadwalader, Mary and younger Girls Sarah 1833 and Hannah 1836 and see if it gives you a connection with Evan.
Just a thought.

Paul
