I have found that if the images is a jpeg or something like this, if you right click on it and select ope with Paint, you will be able to fiddle about and see it much better.

Yes, astral, the original was a .tif and I had opened it with Paint Shop Pro, but it still wasn't much clearer.
All countries/counties
