OK, this is going to sound like a daft question  :-[ but how do I do that?

I mean choose the full version, not get the birth certificate LOL

No, I don't have a birth certificate, I got her exact d-o-b from her death certificate, but I knew the date of her birthday and her age so it wouldn't have been hard to figure out.

I am going to send for the birth certificate though, because I think I'm right in saying the full version will have more info about her parents.

The birth certificate will have both her parents' names, her address at birth and her father's occupation.  Have a look at your own certificate and see what it says.
When you go into ancestry there are various options on the screen.  One of them is England and Wales BMD indexes.   Go into that and find the one that says Complete - rather than the FreeBMD one.   You might have to be a bit inventive with searching as sometimes they fail to produce an image so if you want Lucas you might be better looking at Leather or whatever and then going forward through the pages by pressing the arrow at the top to move forward a page.  Eventually you will get to the right page and see the entry you want.   Having said that, there are some missing but it would be really bad luck if yours is one of them.
If the parents married in France then that is beyond my knowledge.  Try the France board!   I am sure someone will know.

Thank you, yes I see other options now - couldn't see for looking before.
