Excellent show. I loved seeing his enthusiasim and seeing him walking in his ancestors footstps. I've got a funny feeling they'll all end up going on holiday to see it all.

Fantastic program tonight....to be able to follow his family back to the slave traders and a topic some still find raw..Colin's pride in his family shone through.
To come through so much with him it was so sad to find out about his grandmother.

Fantastic episode, i have recently discovered my relatives were plantation owners during and after slavery was abolished and often had children with their "maids" from what i have found they "freed" their slaves well before it was abolished and seem to have been involved in the emancipation of slaves. Really interesting finds and so sad about his gran.

As the others have said, an excellent programme tonight.

Brian

Packer was Colin's Panamanian grandma's surname, wasn't it?
Gladys Roslyn Packer, daughter of Richard Augustus

Wonder why she picked that for her stage name, rather than Jackson?
