Can anyone tell me if FreeReg Search on FreeBDM is up and running yet, when I looked at the site this morning, I got the following message FreeReg Search is being deployed gradually and is not yet available from your location.
Access will be available from your location soon.
So is anyone, yet able to access this service.

Everybody gets the same message.  I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with where you are, unless access is being reserved for the US, given that the site is sponsored by Ancestry (yes, I'm paranoid).
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

I suppose like everyone else I'm just waiting for it to start, does any one know if it will eventually become available to Ancestry.com as I can see the FreeReg site becoming very busy very quickly. As there are days when FreeBDM is hard enough gaining acess to.

It would be good if they said up front which parishes in which counties are available to search, then at least if the parish your hoping for isn't there you can leave the search engine clear for the lucky ones!!

I'm really hoping that they're focusing on parishes not already available on Family Search, otherwise - in a way - what's the point?

Having said that, I'm in no way detracting from all the hard slog which must have gone into it.
