Voters Rolls
« on: Friday 22 September 06 17:23 BST (UK) »
Hi Guys,

I am still on the track of elusive relatives, it stuck me that in 1942 both sexes would be able to take the vote for elections.  Would anyone happen to know if these lists were kept and if so where would they be kept?

I am looking for a voters roll for Philadelphia City from 1942 onwards.

wishing you all the best, from Deepest Darkest Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Swally

Have you tried lookign at the archives web site?

http://www.phila.gov/phils/records.htm

They do have deeds and real property information decibed on this page/
http://www.phila.gov/phils/Docs/Inventor/deeds.htm

And vital records are at the city archives

Here is a link for the State archives. They may have a resource or two to help.

And the genelaogical society

These may help you with a new lead. Kristin
