Microfiche of Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk etc wanted
« on: Tuesday 17 February 04 22:49 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I will buy microfiche related to these areas and maybe others too. Let me know what you have and price. I can buy just about anything for £2 a shot, so preferably a lot less, say 50 pence each? I will buy even if I have no interest in the area at the moment, as I am one of those MAD people! I only need one of each.
If you do not want anything for them, I will make a reasonable donation to World Vision, the christian charity that I support, instead
Your choice.
Mainly interested in parish records, as most census are available on CD now, though I am interested in Kellys, Whites directories etc.
Unwanted CDs are also of interest, though I don't buy pirated / copied cds.
I will actually buy most genealogy related stuff, if of any use to me.
Visit my site to find my email.

Hi Jaq,
Thanks for this. I have bought from ebay in the past, but generally stuff goes for silly money. A lot of sellers split up lots, and once you have added on postage, you can just buy the same thing brand new at one of the Census CD sellers, i.e. I always check to see how much I can purchase the same through genfair, or archivecdbooks or stepping stones.
There is rather an excellent lot of the IGI on microfiche, for sale at the moment, but then this is mostly available online anyway.
