west knoyle + warminster
« on: Sunday 24 September 06 20:24 BST (UK) »
Dear all,

I am looking for the birth of Aaron Husson (Hufson) b 1795 ish in Warminster, Wilts.
I am also looking for his marriage to his first wife, unknown! He may have married quite young. He married his second wife (Elizabeth Hills) in 1844.

I'm also looking for the birth of his son, Charles Husson in West Knoyle (or Kingle?) possibly around 1820.

They both moved to Sheerness in Kent about 1822 as subsequent children are born there (Rebekah, Elizabeth and Harcourt, a son). Aaron was a shipwright and Charles a swayer.

Any help or other info on this family would be gratefully received.

thanks Jane

Thanks Frances,
I know think that Aaron Husson may have had 2 brothers possibly:

James b 1803ish  west Knoyle
and
Robert b 1801 ish

because in 1871 census Aoron's son, Charles is staying with his uncle Robert

and James has a son called George Harcourt Husson b 1860. The "Harcourt" name seems to keep occurring in male names after the brother's generation.

Could it be a link to their mother's name?

Any ideas? It is all so puzzling!

Any confirmation of the brothers births or parents identity would be appreciated.
thanks Jane
