I'm a bit lost   why are we looking for Elizabeth GIBBONS b.1859 in Wales? All the censuses we have so far show her POB as Liverpool

Daisy, according to this old lady i got this info from, she remembers Elizabeth being born in Wales, well been talked about being born in Wales! It was said she never talked used Wales as her birth place always used Liverpool.
I have checked with Freebmd for her birth in Liverpool and nothing but... there was one Elizabeth Gibbons born 1859 Flintshire Wales... could this be her?

According to this old dear this elizabeth she thinks was adopted but when and where this falls into place i don't know

Sam Ann the I.G.I is easy to use you will be able to look for your Scots ancestors on there. If you want Census lookups for Wales/Scotland you need to put a request on the relevant board. not the Cheshire one. They are more likely to have access to the census you require.

with reference to ellen dobbies age in 1871 i have rechecked the image and the age is 11yrs not 22 .i can only apologise and say it must have been a blonde moment.....
oh wait  iam not blonde

also have been looking at the 1891 again.
jane who is listed as 8yrs in 1891 has a match for this birth- jane dobbie sept qtr 1882 toxteth park
but i do not see an obvious match for 3yr old elizabeth or baby william.
