the 1891 also has william henrys place of birth as liverpool ancashire so iam guessing the 61 is your guy before his marriage.

Alli,
This sounds like my W H biggs doesn't it? and it gives his occ as a candle maker labourer and on the 1891 cen W H Biggs is a Candle maker.. umm I think you are right it does look like him Alli.
So now i don't suppose we could find his parents then, if he is with boarders on this census, agh.. shame.
Alli, his wife Hannah, who i think could be Hannah Archer, according to the census was born bebington cheshire 1843 wonder if we could find her with her parents before she married William Henry, which must have been around 1800-1869 at Bebington cheshire
