Thanks 3sillydogs, we know he married Jane Elinor Heslington and had 3 sons and a daughter. We can trace him back to 1725. It is just the reason for emigrating and possible link to the Byrne group that we want to establish.

William Henry Savory is not listed on the Byrne Settlers lists. He is listed on the British Settlers in Natal list by Shelagh O'Byrne Spencer but the name of the ship on which he travelled is, unfortunately, not mentioned.
