Surgeon William ALLKIN

Hi again,
I also have William ALLKIN born around 1840 Hyde, Cheshire, Eng.


In 1861 at Broom Lane, Denton, Lancs
William ALLKIN is listed as a surgeon unmarried age 21 born Hyde
and staying with his uncle William and 3 aunties Sarah, Mary and Eliza.

Now interestingly another one of his mothers sisters Esther (who William was with in 1841) one of her daughters Sarah married Dr. Samuel BEECROFT who was born 1830 Hyde a surgeon and had a medical practice in Hyde, Cheshire from at least 1851-1871.

Can anyone find any reference to William at all regarding medical stuf?! A couple of newspaper articles mentioning Samuel were posted for me a while back so hoping can turn up something on William also.
Or point me where to look next.

I'm finding it quite intriguing!
