May i have a translation please?

4 gravestones side by side in Llangwm churchyard.

These inscriptions were copied after a lot of cleaning and scraping off of moss and leaves and pushing aside branches etc. so may not be exact!!!!! but would appreciate any help. Mary & Margaret were on the same stone.

Ive been trying to use this site to translate  http://www.cs.cf.ac.uk/fun/welsh/LexiconForms.html      and its working but ive to go out now so you may get a pen and paper andget working lol 

The first bit goes along the lines of
immemorial
Catherine Huges
Wife of Hugh Huges
Died the 14th of May 1856
aged 55

The second one
Immemorial
Of Catherine Huges
Daughter of Hugh and Catherine Huges
Died 21 of march 1871
aged 75

And so on

Ill leave the rest to you ive to go get the child from school and i was enjoying that too

Alas, computers and dictionaries are not the most reliable translation aids!
   "Er cof am" means "In memory of"
   "Yr hon/hwn a gladdwyd" means "She/he was buried" - in other words the date is that of the burial not the death
    "Gwraig" means "wife"
    "Merch" means "daughter"
    "a" means "and" (those were right!)
    "Hefyd am" means "Also of"
    "Hunodd" actually does mean "died", literally "went to sleep"
     The Welsh months are as follows: Ionawr, Chwefror, Mawrth, Ebrill, Mai, Mehefin, Gorffennaf, Awst, Medi, Hydref, Tachwedd, Rhagfyr - so you can see your burials were in May, March, April, September and October.

Thankyou both for your help. I had a lovely?  time trying to pronounce some of the welsh place names i wanted to visit when asking my B&B hosts where certain villages were. I think they used commendable restraint in not laughing at me [ at least, not until i was out of earshot ] !! 

One last thing, the ages of death that you gave me Colette, didn't 'marry up' with my first 2 inscriptions, did they just get transposed by accident or a slip of the keyboard?

After all the work we did on these gravestones i'm determined to find some way of including them in my relatives
