1861 look up Cambridge John Hills please

Looking for John Hills aged about 33, born in Hoddesdon
occupation engine driver.  His wife was Charlotte.  Would appreciate any help, particularly an address. Thanks.

Any idea where in Cambridge? The 1861 is not indexed so without a parish the words needles and haystacks spring to mind! The various parishes in Cambridge run to over 1000 census sheets.
