Hi!

I know that I am replying to a rather old post, but I'm wondering whether you had any luck tracing down Ronald's family? In particular, whether you are still in possession of the photograph that you mentioned!

I am a somewhat distant member of Ronald's family; he is my grandad's first cousin.

Ronald is the son of Alfred and Florence, Florence is my grandad's dad's sister (if that makes sense?!)

I would love to hear from you! I had no idea that Ronald had been engaged during the war and find this fascinating, I know so very little about him other than dates and places.

Please, please, I hope that you get in touch!

Kindest regards,
Samantha (Samm) - ancestry tree member, if you want to search for Ronald Rayment!

Hi!

Many thanks for your reply - while deeply saddened by this news, it is good to know that I need to attempt a search elsewhere!
