No Thank you Newbie. I am sure that you are right. I can't find a Gwen Evans born in Cardiff in 1873 , if that is what she said. (on the Ancestry index)

As requested fathers name was Evan LL. is does not give surname so it is taken it is same as the bride ?

This is how it was stated 'father Evan LL. (dec)'  I thought the (LL) was for Llewellyn ?  but he maybe Evan Llewellyn, Evan LL    or Evan Llewellyn Evan(s)

I see Gwen had a son Evan L. in 1901 check freebmd to see if his middle name is Llewellyn? You could also get Gwens' birth cert to confirm.

In work, do not have my recources, but put all it stated regarding marriage
