I would like to communicate with anybody who may be related to or have information on the subject family.    My Father was James BROUGHTON and he could have been associated with them.    He was a Merchant Seaman.

I have an Ann Broughton in my family tree although she was born in Barnoldswick in 1801, not far from Bury. Her father was William Broughton.

Any help?
