Typical after stating the above I sent the web page to my brother and he reminded me of this incident.

'Oh Yes! - I remember him well!
He's the one who threw my bike over the wall down on to the Railway line at Pwllglas and we had to walk home, before having a lift back in a Police Car.  My wheel was bent in half.
Do you remember?  The Police Inspector didn't seem to do much to him'
