Census access
« on: Monday 08 November 04 10:38 GMT (UK) »
HI, we now live in Cornwall and are trying to research my husbands family - Prosser in Vaynor and Cefn Coed   and Barlow in Swansea and Cefn Coed.   Is there any way we can get access to the pre 1871 census and Parish REcords for those areas ?   We shall be back in Cefn visiting soon and wondered how much we could do while we were there.

Donna Prosser
Names - Prosser and Barlow mainly

Areas - Merthyr Tydfil, Vaynor, Swansea, Bideford, Leeds

Hello Donna
Try the following site for details of breconshire records. I believe that vaynor 1841 census is officially missing.
