Frierburn Mill, Kineham ?

Has anyone heard of a Frierburn Mill, Kineham,may be in Berwickshire/ Roxburghshire.
Have a mariage Andrew Kerr & Isobel 1792 at Foulden & Coldingham, if it helps.

Thanks for the info, my spelling, seems about right for the families we are looking for, my wife had heard of the name but couldn't place it.
Didn't know you came that far south.

This has really helped me find it too as for some time I've been trying to work out where this was! My aunts gave me a Kerr family tree many years ago with "Friars Burn Mill Kineham" as place of birth for Isobel Forsythe.
My question is: where's "Kineham"? I've goOOogled Kineham and found a reference to "Kineham Lodge Coldstream Scotland" but I'd like to know where exactly this is?
BTW I've ordered the marriage extract for an "Andrew Carr" and Isobel Forsythe for the 13/04/1792, Coldingham.

I haven't been able to find Kineham Lodge but the mention in that website of a William Hewit, Kineham Lodge, Coldstream would correspond with the William Hewit born Coldstream, Berwick in 1891.  Perhaps the birth certificate or either the 1891 or 1901 Census might throw some light on Kineham Lodge ?

Ah good idea, silly me, thank-you.

I had a look and found a "Kinchim Lodge" in coldstream with what is most likely his father there. This is by "Hirsel House" with an Earl of sorts living there. Hirsel House is still there, looks very nice!

If you go to a mapsite and zoom down to 1:25,000 you can see Hirsel Country Park about 1/4mile northwest of Coldstream. You can zoom right in on an aerial photo on maps dot live dot c0m, but I couln't find the lodge.

Yes, I've found Kincham Lodge. Go  to Get-a-Map, enter the co-ordinates NT835415, and enlarge to the maximum. (It only shows at this scale of enlargement.

Nice one. So it looks like it is "Kincham" and not "Kineham". Brilliant!
