( London) 1841/1851 Census Lookup Please For Susanna Rossiter
« on: Tuesday 10 October 06 10:30 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for information about the parents and siblings of Susanna Rossiter, who was baptised on June 10th 1803 at St Giles, Cripplegate, London.

Her parents were James Rossiter and Elizabeth ( maiden name unknown), but I have no further details about them.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Best wishes

Hi Meliora,

Thanks for that. It's possible they could all be part of the same family or two or more separate families with similarly named parents. Shame that records rarely showed the mother's maiden name. Sexism rears its ugly head even in those times!! LOL!!

Is there a marriage record please for a James and Elizabeth at St Giles or St Sepulchre? It might be possible to link the children to the right James & Elizabeth.

Best wishes
