For what it is worth, I worked with a Mick Welham back in the late 1960's, he lived in Ashcroft Road, Ipswich then, if I recall correctly, plus another family Welham, probably connected, lived further up Elmcroft Road Ipswich about the same time...

Hi  Yellowbird, I have Harry listed on my website on the memory page, he also had a brother who died in the conflict. Any more information would be interesting. My family history website is www.wix.com/ hadleigh/welham. I look forward to hearing from you.

My husbands mothers side are Suffolk Welhams that go back.  They have farms in Suffolk  there were many cousins on the Welham side.  I don't know much on the family tree but Welham is a fairly common Suffolk name.

Hi my childhood friend Grandad was Orlando Welham and he lived in Washbrook. I know he is buried at Belstead Church as I have visited his grave.
I did look into her tree a few years back and have some info on the Welhams. I am assuming Orlando was your grandfathers brother? I know he had several sons and a daughter and I believe another son who died in an accident
Let me know if you want to look at the tree
