M.I.s for St Fergus, Banffshire please?
« on: Wednesday 11 October 06 10:23 BST (UK) »
I'm researching a Michael Hastie (Farmer) who died in  Stonemill, St Fergus, Banffshire in September 1821, aged 35 years.   He moved up from Berwickshire and his death was notified in a Berwickshire newspaper.   Michael's father was Peter Hastie and his mother was Elizabeth Moffet, of Hutton Mill, Hutton, Berwickshire.

I'm hopeful that someone will have the M.I.s for the area and be able to locate this man's grave for me please.   I do not know if he was married with a family.

Thank you.
