Hi Anne,

Many thanks to your contribution of time and effort.

As you know, Patrick Crossan, was never commemorated and is one of the missing of the Somme battlefield. As such, he should his name recorded on the Commonwealth Wargraves database and the Thiepval Memorial.

Based on the evidence gathered, which includes the contribution you have made on the forum, I have successfully submitted a case to the Commonwealth Wargraves Commission. Patrick is now recorded on the CWGC database and will be having his name etched onto the Memorial in due course.

One of Dundee's sons is in from the cold.

Aye

Hi Tom
That is fantastic. As you say one of the boys are being bought home. I am really honoured to have been of help.
 Good luck with everything.
