COLE/COLLINS Herberton Devon

Hi Rootschatters,
Can anyone help me with /Cole and Collins please.
Henry cole b. mar 1822 Harberton son of richard Cole b. bef 1796 herberton Devon, ( don't know if Harberton is a different place to Herberton, don't think so could be just the spelling) Richard married Elizabeth Andrews b. mar 1790 Herberton.
I would like to try and trace Henry and his family and find henry/susans death, as for Richard and elizabeth his parents, they are difficult can't find them other than what i have given for them.

Henry's wife susan was the Collins connection. suasn Collins was b. 1826 Devonshire daug of Robert and Susan? Susan had a brother Robert b. 1824 and he married Maria? Sometimes spelt Collings.

these Cole and Collins/collings family are difficult...

  Totnes is just down the road from Haberton so a possible death....

hi Tazzi,
I did have the marriage thats where i got Henry's fathers name from as richard Cole. I certainly did not have the death of Henry so thats a positive start there.

richard cole Henry's father is hard man to find... and the Collins-EVEN WORSE!

  Haven't got access to the census but if anyone out there can do a 1871 lookup that might show if Susan was alive....cannot find her as easily.

I have found Robert's marr to Elizabeth Barnecoat(barnacoat) Stoke Dameral 1825 apr 2  from the IGI

Maybe Stoke Dameral could be a lead as thier son Robert acc to 1881 cen was born there 1824. But 1841 cen Robert sen and Elziabeth are living at DArtington
