looking for a marriage

I have noticed on IGI there is a marriage 16th June 1812 in Selby it gives the name of the man but not the woman, John Wood, is there anyone that has marriages for Selby for this year please as I would like to know who he married, as I was told that my John Wood married in Selby about that time he married a lady called Elizabeth, a bit o f a long shot I know but I can only ask.

Hi Sue,

Just had a look at the IGI and have found another entry for a John Wood who married Elizabeth Rainsford on the 16 June 1812 in St George, Hanover Square, London.
Is it just a coincidence that they married on the same day? He may have been from Selby but married a London girl.
