Mickleham - Missing Parish Records?

Hi,

I would like to get hold of a copy of the Birth, Marriage and Burial Records for Mickleham, but notice that they only appear to be available for the period up to 1840 and the marriages even earlier.  I am most interested in dates after this time.

Does anyone happen to know the reason why this is so?  I think that perhaps it is because the registers are still with the Church, or was it because they were never filmed or transcribed.
