Enoch Townend from Keighley

Hoping someone can help.

I'm looking for the children of Enoch Townend (b1775) who married a Susannah Hellewell in 1803. I have found an Esau 1803, Mary, 1831, Lydia 1836 and Alice 1842.

There is a big gap between Mary and Esau. These Townend people from back then where breeders but l cant find them.

If Enoch married Susannah in 1803, the I think it unlikely that she is still sprogging 28,33,39 years later.  I suggest that you may have your generations mixed somewhere.

For what this is worth.....

On the 1841 census (Skipton, Kildwick, HO107/1317/3 Folio 24 Page 10), Enoch and Susannah are shown with Mary (age 20 = c1821), Lydia (age 15 = c1826) and Alice (age 9 = c1832).

On the 1851 census (Skipton, Kettlewell, HO107/2278 Folio 352 Page 16), Mary has gone but Lydia is shown as a married Daughter of Enoch. Alice (age 19) is listed as his Granddaughter.

No luck finding any others I am afraid. There is quite a lot of LDS member submitted information on familysearch.org about his parents and siblings and also about his wife’s family but (apart from Esau) I cannot see anything about any other children.
