Hello,

i'm trying to find any info on a Dr Wenyon. He had a medical practice in the Orkneys  pre 1900.
I believe he was based in Sandy.
Anybody know of him etc.

Hi Brian,

I found a website (boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/message/an/surnames.wenyon/2) which gives a little information.  There is another with the same address but /4.
Louie was the son of Dr Edwin James Wenyon and Flora Agnes Frazer.
In another site he (Dr Wenyon) is listed as being at Sanday Island, Orkney, and Aberdour circa 1900.
Hope this is of some help.

Bervonian.

Hello,

Thanks for the quick response and your kind reply.

However, I'm the admin person for that site.

I'm hoping I could get somebody that's familar with the local history etc in that time. Dr Wenyon was my Grandfather.

If you find anything else please donot hesitate to contact me.
