Help Please - Gardiner

I am looking for James Gardiner c1856 according to 1901, 1891, and 1881 census born in Sheffield. He married Margaret Blunt Jun Q 1879 in Rotherham Yorkshire.

I have searched on 1871 and 1861 census and cannot find him. According to the marriage certificate his Father was named Frederick. Was hoping to find him on these census to find his mothers name and about when they were born.

Wondered if another pair of eyes might find them.

In the household of James and Mary Sylvester (transcribed as Custer) there is

Jas Gardiner Servant Unm 16 Miner Sheffield, Yorks

I think that this may be him but it does not help with his parents. Sorry.
