1871 census: Richard Compton (age 8)

On the 1871 census:
I am looking for Richard William Compton (b.c. 1862, Leicester), son of Thomas and Sarah.  We know that father Thomas died age 33 in 1869 in Leicester. Mother Sarah was chronically ill and died in 1877.  We have located Richard (age 18) and his sister Helen (age 17) living on Bay Street in Leicester on the 1881 census with a Wilson family (relationship unknown).
Can someone please help with this one.
