baptism in melbourne
« on: Tuesday 17 October 06 21:23 BST (UK) »
hi thanks to the help ive had from people on this site i have been given a possible baptism for my many times grandfather george warrener from melbourne co derby,im now trying to find out if this is the right entry, the baptism took place 1782 now this matches his age at the date of his death in 1859 as i have his death cert, but his marriage entry states he was 21 when he married and his bride martha wood 19(they married in nottingham) in 1806,and thats my problem if they were married in 1806 given the date of the baptism this would make him 24 not 21 as stated.any ideas anybody where to go from here?
                      many thanks

yeah thats the marriage but it says he is 21 but going by his baptism date and date and age at death he would have been 24,but its definetly the right marriage. is it usual for the age to be wrong on an important document like that??                 thanks
